On Saturday, October 4th, Dirty South Entertainment hosted its annual Fall Fest Street Jam in East Nashville, bringing together skaters, artists, and vendors in a welcoming environment that made skate culture accessible to all.

The event featured DIY-built obstacles, including a bump-to-rail on a U-Haul trailer, with a Best Trick contest where Patrick Duffy landed a backside heel flip over the bump and Noah Cooper took home the win.

New this year was the Skate Joust, where skaters competed to knock each other off their boards with poles wrapped in boxing gloves, breaking down barriers between the skate community and the public. As Nashville’s skate scene continues to grow, the need for a new skatepark is more urgent than ever, and events like Fall Fest highlight the passion and creativity already present—proving that with the right support, Nashville could become a true skateboarding hub in the South.
